    At the 9th IFOAM European Organic Congress from 11-13 June 2015 in Riga, Latvia we asked Christopher Stopes, President IFOAM EU Group, about the next steps concerning the EU Organic Revision. to reach an agreement even during the Latvian presidency. There is still disagreement over key issues and there is still a lot to discuss although the AGRI Council took up many sector demands in their compromise on June 16th. Mr. Stopes gives a resumee of the discussion but also an outlook what is the process in the coming months? Probably more importance should be given to the visions of the organic sector. Future strategies for organic food and farming to 2013 has been on the congress agenda.
